Award applicants are judged on the following criteria: Impact metrics, innovation/uniqueness of the product, and its ability to inspire sustainable change.
Any physical product is eligible for submission.

The SEAL Sustainable Service Award recognizes innovative services that
set a new standard for sustainability.
Award applicants are judged on the following criteria: Impact metrics, innovation/uniqueness of the services, and its ability to inspire sustainable change.
Any form of service – like hospitality or B2B commercial services – is eligible for consideration.
The SEAL Sustainable Innovation Award recognizes innovations that represent game-changing ideas that bring us to a more sustainable future.
Award applicants are judged on the innovation’s advantages over alternatives, sustainability benefits, disruption, and impact metrics, amongst other criteria.
The SEAL Award for Organizational Impact celebrates the 50 Most Sustainable Companies Globally.
The 2021 selection process will again be conducted without an application process.
The evaluations will be conducted 100% analytically using existing benchmarks (like the CDP A-List and Corporate Sustainability Assessment) – please refer to our Methodology section of the 2020 Busines Sustainability Award Announcement.
